Complexity of data integration of different data sources

Integration of data from data sources is difficult. There can be some issues. Note them:

  1. Source data volume. It would affect on resource utilization.
  2. Source data volatility.
  3. Impact on the source system. Retrieving large volume of data from transactional system can have negative impact on the operational applications.
  4. Geographically separated data sources.
  5. Different schemas, data formats, naming conventions.
  6. Different database systems, different database versions.
  7. Different source environments with different systems, different platforms and operating systems.

–°omplexity increases to the bottom.
